Community Celebration for the East Providence Library Peace Flag Project

This is the final evening of the East Providence Peace Flag Project, which concludes our month-long series of events to explore peace and nonviolence. We come together this evening to celebrate all we have done this month and to donate a Peace Banner to the East Providence Library. This Banner will hang in the library as a symbol of hope and peace and as a reflection of the community’s wishes for a better world. The banner displays many Peace Flags created by children and adults in the library. We will talk about what we have learned, and talented local musicians Nancy Good and Barry Brown will perform.
