Hungering for America: Italian, Irish and Jewish Foodways in the Age of Migration

Dr. Hasia Diner, Paul and Sylvia Steinberg Professor of American Jewish History, New York University, will discuss the significance of food in cementing ethnic identity and community.
A reception following the lecture will include samples of food from each of the three cultures. All of the food served will be kosher.
