The Rhode Island Council for the Humanities receives a majority of its funding from the federal budget of the National Endowment for the Humanities, of which we are an independent non-profit affiliate. Increased public awareness of the funding that RICH provides to quality humanities programs helps ensure that Congress will continue to support funding for the National Endowment for the Humanities and thus for RICH. We invite all Rhode Islanders to become advocates and join us in promoting the importance and value the humanities and public programming.
