The Freedom Project Bridges CityArts and Highlander, Children and Adults
Come join Providence CityArts in celebration of community art collaborations organized by local artist Holly Ewald. The three-week long exhibition that brings the voices of Narragansetts, 19th century slaves, Highlander Charter School students and Providence educators together in conversation will be complemented by a closing reception at which representatives of Highlander 8th Grade will share their contributions to the interactive exhibit.
The exhibit runs from January 25 - February 12, 2010. Gallery hours are Monday through Friday from 9am to 5pm, closed on weekends and federal holidays.
