The Poems of Tom Chandler
Rhode Island’s Poet Laureate Emeritus will discuss the creative process and read from his work.
Tom Chandler has been named Phi Beta Kappa Poet at Brown University and has been a featured poet at the Robert Frost homestead as well as the Library of Congress. His poems have been read by Garrison Keillor on National Public Radio on several occasions. He is the author of five books, a columnist for The Providence Journal, and editor of the Bryant Literary Review. He is a professor of creative writing at Bryant University and winner of the Galway Kinnell Poetry Prize, among others.
