Kate Greene



Kate A. Greene, J.D., is the Assistant Director of the Center for Global and International Programs of Roger Williams University. She is also the Rhode Island Director of the U.S. State Department's International Visitor Leadership Program. Kate has spent almost two decades working to build bridges between Americans and the world, facilitating international exchanges of students and professionals, the sharing of ideas among policymakers of different countries, and consideration of important global and international issues in the United States. Hallmarks of Kate's work include a belief that the world can become a better place through collaboration that transcends borders, an enthusiasm for the practical application of best available technologies, and a commitment to building synergy among people holding diverse world views. Kate is active in committing her time to community organizations, serving on the Board of Directors of the World Affairs Council of Rhode Island and as an observer to the Rhode Island Permanent Commission for Civic Education.
