An annual Aurea holiday tradition, A Child’s Christmas in Wales features a delightful reading of the Dylan Thomas classic story, with musical interludes of festive chamber music and traditional English carols. The program includes poetry of Dickinson, Oliver, Mansfield, and Longfellow, festive chamber music of Britten, Boyce, Handel, and Clarke, with traditional English carols.

Aurea is delighted to feature acclaimed actor Malcolm Ingram, whose many stage credits include Shakespeare and Company, Lenox, MA; original productions at London’s National Theatre, the West End, and the Royal Court as well as numerous regional theaters in the UK and the United States. Also reading this classic tale is Chris Turner, actor and harmonica virtuoso sharing his unique improvisations of classic carols.
