Getting Merry Like Christmas: A Jazz-Gospel Celebration

“Getting Merry Like Christmas” merges traditional holiday songs with jazz and gospel sounds. Powerhouse gospel great Doreen Murray, a soloist known throughout New England, joins an excellent ensemble of Providence vocalists, including Janell Brown, Drew Parker, Luna Abreu-Santana, and Jose Baez, with jazz pianist Rod Luther at the keyboard. Robb Dimmick directs. The show will ring in the holidays with familiar and not-so-familiar songs of the season.
