Living Literature: The Wright Brothers

May 2, 2016 @ 7:15 pm - 8:45 pm

Free

Living Literature will bring to life the story of two courageous brothers, Wilbur and Orville Wright, who taught the world how to fly. Join us in a unique presentation of the Wright Brothers’ story! The performance is based on David McCullough’s best-selling work The Wright Brothers.

Come and learn about the little-known contributions of their sister Katharine, without whom things might well have gone very differently for the brothers. Performing at this event will be Sharon Carpentier, Brian Platt and Dave Rabinow.

This presentation is generously sponsored by and is a product of the partnership between the Rhode Island Council for the Humanities’ EnRICHment Program and the RI Center for the Book’s Reading Across Rhode Island.
