Rally for Question 5: Creative and Cultural Economy Bonds!

Rhode Island Arts & Preservation Coalition Hosts “Yes on 5” Rally

Members of the Rhode Island Coalition for Arts & Preservation, local artists,
community leaders and special guests will join in support of Question 5, the
referendum authorizing the Creative and Cultural Economy Bonds.

Question 5, the Creative and Cultural Economy Bonds, would authorize
$30 million in matching funds for renovation projects at Rhode Island
arts facilities. This includes $23 million for nine named performing arts
facilities as well as nearly $7 million for matching grants for other
qualified facilities. Question 5 also authorizes $5 million in matching
funds for State Preservation Grants, which would fund restoration
projects at our state’s most historic properties.
