Town Hall: The Refugee Experience in Rhode Island

The Rhode Island Community Food Bank welcomes Kathleen Cloutier, Executive Director at Dorcas International Institute of Rhode Island for a virtual town hall!

Food Bank CEO, Andrew Schiff, will talk with Kathy about the immigrant and refugee experience in Rhode Island, specifically for the recently welcomed Afghan refugees.

The 100-year-old Dorcas International provides programs and services to immigrants, refugees and all Rhode Islanders looking to overcome cultural, educational, economic and language barriers. The organization strives to create a welcoming environment for all who come to settle here in the Ocean State.
