What Now: Education Reform: A Teen-Led Townhall

April 13, 2021 @ 1:30 pm - 2:30 pm

Join the conversation about how teens can turn their passion around education reform into real change in Rhode Island. Led by local high schoolers, Deb Adekunle (Classical), Brandon Feliz (the MET), Dakota Watjen(East Prov), & RI State Senator Tiara Mack to talk about how to get involved in state action around reform within the education system, including removal of SROs, curriculum reform & the Student Bill of Rights.

What Now: Education Reform is the last in a series of three youth-led town hall style panels about turning passion into civic action in Rhode Island. Each panel will be held virtually and will encourage interaction from audience members – bring your questions!
