Wordsmith/Metalsmith allows for exploration of the communicative energy written text brings to jewelry and metalwork, a highly personal form of visual art. Showcasing contemporary artists from around the world, including the Boris Bally, Kristin Beeler, Liz Hamman, Keiith Lo Bue, Mary Hallam Pearse, and Katherine Richmond, these artist draw attention to symbolic language, making objects that use words for narrative, conceptual, and formal content.

Exhibition runs: May 19 to June 19, 2015
Reception: Tuesday, May 26, 5 to 8 PM
