Join the Rhode Island Historical Society for the 2nd Annual Archive Remix Film Festival! This year’s outdoor premiere screening will be hosted at the Old Slater Mill National Historic Site in the heart of Pawtucket.
The hour-long program will feature 14 3-minute creative remixes created by local professional and amateur filmmakers using footage from the RIHS Moving Image and Audio Collections (MIAC). Participating creators were provided with access to 300-minutes of archival footage and invited to remix the material into films with the tone, subject, or theme of their choice.
This project was made possible in part by Amica Insurance and a Rhode Island Foundation Community Grant, as well as event partners LittleFire and the National Park Service.
