Rabbi Gil Bashe, of the Breslov Research Institute, is visiting Providence to teach about Rebbe Nachman and Breslov Chasidic thought. A longtime healthcare professional, Rabbi Bashe is an American-born former Israel Defense Forces paratrooper who fought in the First Lebanon War and is among the veterans of the famous rescue force at Sultan Yacoub in the Beqaa Valley.
