Join the Refugee Dream Center on April 1, 2021 from 4:00 – 5:00 pm EST as they discuss the importance of democratic participation among the refugee community with leaders in the state! The webinar will cover important topics like the voting process, elections, and more. We will also reflect on historical events that have made it possible for marginalized groups to be granted the right to vote and the importance of exercising our right to vote. Special guests include RI Secretary of State Nellie Gorbea and the Elections Divisions Team who will walk you through voting in Rhode Island along with Refugee Dream Center staff Dr. Omar Bah and Isabel Kayembe.
