2020 Celebration of the Humanities

October 15, 2020 @ 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm

$20
This year’s Celebration will take place on Thursday, October 15th as a virtual gathering of hundreds that recognizes cultural and civic engagement in Rhode Island. The digital program with this year’s honorees—Dr. Joyce Stevos, Mary Beth Meehan, the Providence Clemente Veterans’ Initiative, and Janaya Kizzie—will bring the Celebration straight to you and will offer opportunities to explore fascinating humanities work that addresses societal problems and progress. Though we will miss seeing everyone in person, this year’s virtual format will allow us to get to know our honorees and engage with their compelling work and why it’s so important. We hope you agree and will plan to join us.
We know this year’s Celebration of the Humanities will feel different, but the goals of supporting the Humanities Council and recognizing leaders in Rhode Island remain the same. You can support the event and the mission in two key ways:
  • Become a sponsor. Sponsorship includes recognition benefits. See the enclosed information for details of each level.
  • Place an advertisement in the digital program book or purchase ad space during the virtual event. The information linked below details ad sizes and rates.
  • Tickets: Supporter tickets (2 registrants) $100 | Access ticket (1 registrant) $20 – register at: rihumanities.org/get-involved/celebrate/
In order to take full advantage of all the benefits available to you, including recognition in the invitation, kindly reply by September 14, 2020 via this Reply Form or by registering using our secure online form on our website: rihumanities.org/get-involved/celebrateContact Rachael Jeffers at rachael@rihumanities.org or (401) 273-2250 with questions or for more information.
