Nicole C. Laliberté, Director of Freedom Dances, hosts an evening celebrating French Canadian Heritage. Freedom Dances performs two multi-media dance works: One created from stories by local people of French Canadian descent; The 2nd, “La Survivance – Chère Mémère”, is the biography of Roger Laliberté’s mother, Maria. The evening concludes with a performance by Franco-American musicians Josée Vachon and Daniel Boucher. Colette Fournier will call quadrilles for which the audience is invited on stage to dance.
