Aurea sets its gaze on the subject of love in this Valentine program, merging the great Brahms G Major String Sextet, Hugo Wolf’s Italian Serenade, Gershwin’s Lullaby and Respighi’s Il Tramonto, with poetry of Shelley, Novalis, Rilke & Nigel Gore, and improvisations of Chris Turner.
