Aurea presents: Once Upon a Midnight Dreary

Inspired by Edgar Allan Poe’s dark imagination, this evocative program combines some of Schubert’s most dramatic writings for string quartet with George Crumb’s Schubertian quotes, and harmonica improvisations paired with Poe’s haunting words and Tennyson’s hyper-romantic poetry.
