The blues tells a story…“The blues echoes right through into soul, R&B and hip hop.”

The Rhode Island Black Film Festival welcomes James Montgomery’s Bonnie Blue: James Cotton’s Life in the Blues. The sultry evening will include music, a screening of the documentary on the most prolific blues artist James Cotton, and a discussion of the American music classic, the blues.

Screening is free but donations are welcomed. Suggested donation is $5.
