About the Rhode Island Civic Health Index
The 2022 Rhode Island Civic Health Index is the first-ever data-driven report assessing the state of Rhode Island’s civic health. This report provides a baseline to help communities, leaders, and policy makers understand what challenges and opportunities Rhode Islanders share. The Index brings together a multitude of data sources and was developed by the Rhode Island Council for the Humanities in collaboration with ten Community Partners and in partnership with the National Conference on Citizenship and the Rhode Island Department of State.
This program is supported in part by funding from the Rhode Island Council for the Humanities as part of the Rhode Island Civic Health Index initiative.
