Collaborative Zine Workshop

From counterculture movements to activist art, zines are an empowering medium where artists and writers find expression and community outside of mainstream publishing. On Sat, Nov 19 at 2:30pm, join What Cheer Writers Club and local artist Zooey Kim Conner at Binch Press / Queer.Archive.Work for a Collaborative Zine Workshop. Learn about zines as a practice and as a radical tool for knowledge sharing, take part in drawing and writing exercises, and learn the basics of zine assembly and binding. Participants will get to take home (at least) one copy of our collaboratively designed zine.
