May 28, 2016 @ 11:00 am - 1:00 pm

This talk will be about the “participatory archive” and the formation of the Eastern Kentucky African-American Migration Project (EKAAMP). How do we as scholars, professionals, and institutions engage with and support communities in preserving their histories? What are the ethical considerations? How does one even begin in such and endeavor? And what does the participatory archive mean to the public humanities?
