Every Hero Has a Story

Every Hero Has a Story…. join Big Nazo for a workshop inspired by the RI Center for the Book’s 2015 The Kids Reading Across Rhode Island book, Flora & Ulysses: The Illuminated Adventures by Kate DiCamillo.

BIG NAZO LAB Staff Artists will demonstrate how scissors, staplers, hot glue, and colorful Sharpie markers can be used to create ORIGINAL, wearable “Plasti-Foam Super-Hero Helmet-Heads” inspired by characters from Flora & Ulysses: The Illuminated Adventures by American author Kate DiCamillo.

The amazing Hero-Helmets fabricated by workshop participants will be brought to life in a parade and “Hero Dance Party” at the library. Kids entering Grades 3 – 6 may register for this program. Space is limited.
