Event Navigation

WCFA, in collaboration with RISCA’s Atrium Gallery Traveling Exhibits Program, presents “Expressions in Black” a juried Black Art Exhibit that will be showcased at the Warwick Center for the Arts May 14th through June 18th. The exhibit, curated by RI artist Monique Rolle-Johnson, will feature the original visual work of regional and diverse Black artists whose works display fidelity, proficiency, and excellence in art making. Exhibited works and featured artists will celebrate the expressions and applications of creativity, imagination, and innovation, and powerfully reflect themes that are universal and/or specific to the Black experience. Please join us at WCFA on Thursday, May 19th from 6:00 – 8:00 pm for an opening reception which will include entertainment, awards presentation, curators comments and refreshments
