Culture is Key: Brick is a documentary about the skating community of Providence and the Friends of Adrian Hall Skate Park, known locally as Trinity Skate Park. The film meditates on the significance of urban development and architecture, intergenerational communities, policing, feminism, and the best material to skate on.
Conceptualized and directed by Loreal Bell, Kenny Borges, and Will James in collaboration with the Providence Public Library and funded by the Culture is Key Initiative. Culture is Key is an initiative of the Rhode Island Council for the Humanities supported by the Rhode Island Foundation, the Federation of State Humanities Councils, and the Andrew W.
