Newport Contemporary Fine Arts located in the Brick Marketplace, Newport, Rhode Island will host our next Exhibition Gallery Opening Thursday November 30th between 7pm and 9pm.
The exhibition will showcase new sculpture by SOWA artist Peter Bradley Cohen. Peter’s current work explores the dialogue between animals and humans. This body of work began this summer when Peter attended residency at the Vermont Studio Center. Peter’s new sculpture explores an engaging and effective way to address the issues around what we as humans do to animals in the context of factory farming. The work is intended to be approachable, entertaining and has an element of humor. The show will also feature works by RISD alumni Elizabeth King and Louis-Charles Tiar and Boston artist John Crowley.
