Grant Information and Evaluation Workshop

This September, Logan Hinderliter, Associate Director of Grants & Partnerships, will present three workshops to share information about upcoming major and mini grant opportunities for nonprofit organizations and individual researchers. The workshops will cover the Council’s funding opportunities, grantmaking processes, and share best practices for developing robust evaluation plans.

Mini and Major Grant Deadlines
The major grant program supports requests between $2,000 and $12,000. It invites nonprofit organizations and schools to apply for funding in support of Rhode Island-based public humanities projects beginning after March 31, 2019. Major grants require an intent to apply to be submitted between October 1 – November 1, 2018.  Final applications are due January 15, 2019.

The mini grant program invites individual researchers, nonprofit organizations, and schools to apply for support up to $2,000. Mini grant applications are accepted quarterly, with the following deadlines: November 1, 2018, February 1, 2019, May 1, 2019, and August 1, 2019.
