Playing piano and trumpet, and an odd contraption called the “Hot Tea-Kettle,” Philadelphia musician Drew Nugent will have you bobbing and swinging for an evening of Hot Jazz. Popular from 1900 to the 1940s, this jazz style pulls together music from New Orleans, Chicago, Harlem, Kansas City, and Drew’s native Philadelphia. Listen closely, dance through the grand hall and “step into Providence’s Golden Age” while taking in the spectacular Victorian architecture, art and furnishings. Cash bar and nibbles to enjoy!
