Industrial Heritage Rhode Tour Launch

The Council will be launching the new Industrial Heritage Along the Woonasquatucket Rhode Tour at the Woonasquatucket Vision Plan Community Picnic scheduled from 1:00pm to 4:00pm on Saturday, September 30th. Come and learn about the might of Rhode Island’s industry, its role in America’s rise as a world superpower, and its lingering environmental and social impact along the Woonasquatucket. At the same time, participate in the first community discussion on the future of the Woonasquatucket Corridor hosted by the Providence Planning department .
