Jamestown Community Chorus Presents “Brush Up Your Shakespeare”

The 50-member Jamestown Community Chorus presents “Brush Up Your Shakespeare” at 7:30 p.m. May 2 and 3 p.m. on May 3 at Central Baptist Church, 99 Narragansett Ave. in Jamestown.
The concert features the lyrics of Shakespeare set to glorious music. Honoring “The Bard” will be soloists, small ensembles and the full chorus singing music from A Midsummer Night’s Dream, The Tempest, Cymbeline, Orpheus, and Shakespeare’s poems. Modern selections referencing Shakespeare such as “Brush Up Your Shakespeare” by Cole Porter and a selection from West Side Story will be performed.
