La Luz Verde

Rhode Island Latino Arts & Trinity Repertory Company present a 90-minute English/Spanish production of La Luz Verde, an adaptation of the novel from the novel The Great Gatsby by F. Scott Fitzgerald, adapted by Catia and directed by Leandro (Kufa) Castro. All performances are FREE and open to the public.

¿Y que? From poor and in love to obsessive and rich, watch as the characters from La Luz Verde find El Gran Sueño Americano and face the big question, “How far will you go to get what you want?”

  • July 6: Jenks Park, Central Falls – OPENING NIGHT!
  • July 9: The Steelyard, Providence*, performance begins at 4:00 pm

  • July 13: Roger Williams Park, Broad Street entrance, Providence

  • Aug. 2: Great Friends Meeting House, Newport

Audience members are welcome to bring their own chair, blanket, and/or picnic to enjoy on the grass at the shows.
