Margo Jefferson is a cultural critic and the author of two books, On Michael Jackson and Negroland: A Memoir, for which she received the 2016 National Book Critics Circle Award in Autobiography. Jefferson won a 1995 Pulitzer for criticism for her work at The New York Times.
