PPS Tour of Pine Street

Paul Campbell, Archivist for the City of Providence, grew up on Pine Street and returned as an adult to live in this historic corridor. In recent decades, SWAP, Inc. (Stop Wasting Abandoned Housing) has focused their attention on rehabbing a number of historic homes in the district for local families, winning a number of PPS Historic Preservation Awards in the process. Join Paul Campbell and Carla DeStefano (Executive Director of SWAP) as they explore the significance and recent developments of the Pine Street area.
