Saving the World: The Climate Change Play Festival is the culminating production of The Manton Avenue Project’s Dialogue program, a playwriting course held at MAP’s Clubhouse in Olneyville during the summer, which culminates in a four day camping and performance devising retreat.
4th-10th grade playwrights partnered with adult artists to devise original performance responses to the question, how can we save the world? What impacts can we make as individuals and as a community to reverse or slow climate change? How can we create a caring community to help each other face these challenges?
The Climate Change Play Festival is supported by the Rhode Island State Council on the Arts, and the Rhode Island Council for the Humanities.
