The End of Heaven, Part 1 – Virtual Film Screening

“The End of Heaven,” which will be shown across 2 SLATERSVILLE work-in-progress preview screenings this month. Both events will be virtual and hosted by the Museum of Work & Culture.
Part 1 will revisit the post World War II years, the final period in which Slatersville operated as a traditional mill village under the Kendall Company.
Part 2 will transition into the closing of the Slatersville Mill, the company’s move to South Carolina in 1956, and how these changes started to affect its community.
