FIND YOUR VOICE WORKSHOPS AND PRACTICE SESSIONS:
Find your voice in a summer long series of workshops funded by a grant from the Rhode Island Council for the Humanities. The series will begin with a workshop on July 6 taught by the talented poet, Christopher Johnson and award-winning author and storyteller, Mark Binder.
Youth facilitators will lead practice sessions on July 13 and July 20 where participants can hone their skills and practice their craft in a supportive and inclusive environment.

SHARE YOUR VOICE: OPEN MIC NIGHT
The series culminates with Share Your Voice: Open Mic Night on July 27 from 5:30pm – 7:00pm. Mark Binder and Christopher Johnson will return to moderate an open mic celebration of the spoken word at Hope Library. 3-minute time slots will be available for folks to share their stories and poetry.
