The Threshold of The Door with No Return, Public Lecture with Professor Michael Sawyer

Dr. Michael Sawyer, Assistant Professor in the Program in Race, Ethnicity, & Migration Studies at Colorado College, will give a talk entitled “The Threshold of the Door of (No) Return”. Dr. Sawyer is the author of two books, An Africana Philosophy of Temporality: Homo Liminalis and Black Minded: The Political Philosophy of Malcolm X. The talk will draw on his newest book project, The Door of No Return: A Phenomenology of Black(ness), and was organized by the CSSJ’s Advanced Knowledges Working Group.
