Walker Mettling’s Portals Fellowship Story Event Spectacular!

2016 Portals Creative Fellow Walker Mettling, a Providence-based illustrator, comics artist, teacher, and story-night curator extraordinaire, is using his Creative Fellowship to create new work inspired by and based upon research in the library’s Special Collections.

This event features a carnival of short stories and surprises by local artists and writers based on the PPL Special Collections!​ ​Plus the release of the giant, full color, Special Collections-themed issue of the Providence Sunday Wipeout!!!
