Everett Freedom Café on Public School

Brown University Granoff Center for the Creative Arts 154 Angell Street, Providence, RI, United States

This Freedom Café on October 23 at Brown University Granoff Center for the Creative Arts will examine ongoing issues in our public schools, such as an over-reliance on testing, the disproportionate number of students of color who are suspended and expelled, and how these practices feed the school to prison pipeline. The evening will include performance and poetry from Everett Company.
