A Gift of #HumanitiesInYourHands for #GivingTuesday

November 30, 2021 By RI Humanities

Dear Community:

We hope you’ll join us this #GivingTuesday by giving back to your community in a way that’s meaningful for you. #GivingTuesday offers us a “chance to come together through generosity in all its forms by sharing acts of kindness and giving voice, time, money, goods, and advocacy to support communities and causes.” In that spirit, the Rhode Island Council for the Humanities is pleased to offer you the gift of Humanities In Your Hands, a series of prompts and quotes for reflection, renewal, and hope.

Click here to download a PDF of Humanities in Your Hands. The prompts and quotes can also be found on our Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook @rihumanities.

Use them for journaling, to spark conversation around the dinner table, or simply as daily reminders of what we all gain through connection, understanding, and empathy.

With gratitude for your friendship and support of the Humanities Council.

The Council Team,

Elizabeth, Rachael, Sophia, Julia, Scott, Micah, and Melissa
