Edgar Villanueva, author of Decolonizing Wealth: Indigenous Wisdom to Heal Divides and Restore Balance (2018), visits Brown to discuss the legacy of colonialism in American philanthropy and to offer alternative paradigms informed by Indigenous worldviews and his expertise in the field. Joining him in conversation about shifts towards social justice philanthropy is renowned civil society scholar, social historian and former president of the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation Prof. Earl Lewis.
